The lens has a large f/2.8 aperture which makes this lens useful to use in low light situations, the lens does't weight a lot either. The lens also has the Nano coating which help reduce light flares. The Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 uses 77mm filters which are used in many other lenses, which makes the 24-70mm great to own since you won't be needing to buy special sized filters like what you'd probably do with the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 lens.
The one thing I wish this lens would have is instead of going up to 70mm, I wished if it went to 85mm, because 85mm is probably one of the best focal lengths for shooting portraits.
- Nothing really, I just wished if it went to 85mm instead of 70mm
- Versatile lens
- Great for all purposes shooting
- Large f/2.8 apeture
- Uses 77mm filters that are used for many other lenses
